Whot Challenge #03: Can You Beat Last Card With a Number Bridge?

In Challenge #02, the table card was Circle 10 and your hand was Circle 1, Triangle 1, and Triangle 7. Your opponent had one card left but forgot to say Last Card.

Under the Challenge #02 rule set, the clean sequence was Circle 1 -> call the missed Last Card penalty -> Triangle 1 -> Triangle 7.

• Circle 1 matches Circle 10 and triggers Hold On.
• While the turn is still open, call the missed Last Card penalty.
• Triangle 1 matches by number and triggers Hold On again.
• Triangle 7 matches Triangle and clears the hand.

Your opponent has already called Last Card. You have five cards left, and if the opponent gets one clean turn, they may finish. Your hand has one hidden route, but it is not obvious if you look only at shapes.

This puzzle asks you to use numbers as bridges.

Table card: Cross 14

Opponent's hand: 1 card

Opponent's status: They have called Last Card.

Your hand:

• Cross 1 - Hold On
• Circle 1 - Hold On
• Circle 8 - Suspension
• Triangle 8 - Suspension
• Triangle 7

• This is a 1v1 game.
• You may match by shape or by number.
• Card 1 is Hold On, so the same player continues.
• Card 8 is Suspension. In 1v1, skipping the opponent gives control back to you.
• No extra house rule is allowed beyond what is written here.

Find the exact sequence that lets you play all five cards without giving the opponent another turn.

1. Use Hold On to keep the turn open.
2. Use the same number to switch into a better shape.
3. Use Suspension to prevent the opponent from taking a turn.

Write down your answer before next week's solution. The route is about timing and number bridges, not a lucky card.

The first card must match Cross 14. After that, do not think only by shape. Look for repeated numbers that move you into the next shape.
